Sarah graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. After gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings, she shifted her focus to specialize in orthopedics and sports medicine. Sarah has undergone extensive post-doctoral training through completion of the Gundersen Health System Sports Physical Therapy Residency Program and a year-long advanced manual therapy training course. As a part of the residency program, she served as adjunct faculty for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and presented her research on hip strength and running biomechanics at a national physical therapy conference (Combined Sections Meeting). She enjoys treating all types of sports and general orthopedic injuries and conditions, both acute and chronic. Her treatment approach includes a combination of manual therapy and individually tailored exercises (as well as dry needling, if appropriate) to help her patients get back to doing what they love as quickly and safely as possible. She is passionate about competing in triathlons and exploring the outdoors and enjoys running, swimming, biking, and hiking in the surrounding mountains.
