Sara Boughner, PT, DPT, CPH

Sara and Forrest on top of a mountainAs a former collegiate athlete, avid ultra-runner, and outdoor recreationist, Sara provides a background of personal athletic experience with an integrated treatment approach to allow patients to return to the activities they love.

Sara graduated from the University of Montana with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019, with additional honors including a Certificate of Public Health, the Nora Staael Evert Professional Achievement Award, and the Ruth A. Kradolfer Physical Therapy Humanitarian Award. She holds special interests in treating running and endurance-related overuse injuries, functional strengthening to restore normal movement patterns, and maintaining an active lifestyle throughout the lifespan. During her free time, Sara enjoys running ultra-marathons, skiing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting with her husband, Forrest, and their dog, Zeno.
