PT Tip of the Week
When the sun returns to the Missoula sky, remember to take the following steps tostretch avoid overuse injuries:

  1. Warm-up and stretch before exercise.
  2. Hydrate regularly while exercising (one water bottle per hour of bicycling or running) to prevent dehydration.
  3. Cool down after exercise.
  4. Remember the post-exercise "3-R's"...Rest, Recover, Re-hydrate.
  5. Cross train (vary your mode of exercise and/or route) to improve fitness and decrease injury risk.
