When the sun returns to the Missoula sky, remember to take the following steps to

avoid overuse injuries:
- Warm-up and stretch before exercise.
- Hydrate regularly while exercising (one water bottle per hour of bicycling or running) to prevent dehydration.
- Cool down after exercise.
- Remember the post-exercise "3-R's"...Rest, Recover, Re-hydrate.
- Cross train (vary your mode of exercise and/or route) to improve fitness and decrease injury risk.
Now get out and enjoy summer when the sun breaks through!
